Karen Wazen is a Lebanese-British fashion entrepreneur and social media influencer based in Dubai. She began her digital career through a blog Karen’s Choice in 2016 and has now gained over 7 million Instagram followers.
As she grew her online popularity, brands such as Dior Beauty, Cartier and Breitling started to collaborate with her and she started being featured on the cover of magazines including Harper’s Bazaar Arabia, L’Officiel Levant, ELLE Arabia and Grazia Morocco.
In 2018, Wazen launched a namesake eyewear collection “Karen Wazen Eyewear,” exclusively revealed by Vogue Arabia. Wazen developed the collection as a direct reflection of her own style, fashion philosophy and personal taste.
She was ranked in Forbes’ Women Behind Middle Eastern Brands List in 2019, and picked up the Achieving Women in Digital Influence accolade at Entrepreneur Middle East’s annual Achieving Women Awards in the same year.
Given her social media presence and influence in the Middle East and North Africa, Wazen has also represented the region at global events such as Cannes Film Festival and the British Fashion Awards.
