Al-Barahim named to Cabinet post

JEDDAH, 18 April — Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Fahd ordered yesterday the appointment of Saleh ibn Abdullah Al-Barahim as deputy head of the court at the Presidency of the Cabinet with the rank of a minister. Meanwhile, King Fahd received yesterday Gen. Sheikh Muhammad ibn Zayed Al-Nahayan, chief of staff of the UAE armed forces. Sheikh Muhammad conveyed the greetings of UAE President Sheikh Zayed ibn Sultan Al-Nahayan to the king. Crown Prince Abdullah, deputy premier and commander of the National Guard, and Prince Sultan, second deputy premier and minister of defense and aviation, also received Sheikh Muhammad and his accompanying delegation.
