Seminar on quality management

JEDDAH, 24 April — The Saudi Arabian Quality Council, a non-profit organization affiliated to the National Quality Committee and operating under the Council of Saudi Chambers of Commerce and Industry, will hold a technical meeting here today. Professor Muhammad Zairi, the SABIC chair for best practices management at the University of Bradford, the United Kingdom, will speak on “Effective Management of Value Chains — From Cradle to Maturity”, according to Dr. Ayed Al-Amri, SAQC coordinator for Western region. Professor Zairi is a leading authority on quality management, benchmarking and performance evaluation. The lecture, at the Saudi German Hospital auditorium, will begin at 8.30 p.m. and will last until 11 p.m.
