Ihab Darwish
This week, the composer became the first Emirati to join the voting members of the Recording Academy, famous for the Grammy Awards. Darwish will be able to cast his vote for multiple categories at the prestigious ceremony.

Hesham Nazih
In June, the Egyptian composer was among 397 individuals invited to join the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences this year. He is the only Egyptian on this year's list and joins Oscar winners Ariana DeBose, Troy Kotsur and Billie Eilish.

The Iranian actor, known for his role in Asghar Farhadi’s award-winning film “A Hero,” will also join the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences with Nazih, DeBose, Kotsur and Eilish.
