MANILA, 23 May — Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) head Wilhelm Soriano encouraged overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) to get in touch with his agency through their webpage in order to be updated on recent developments on various matters concerning them. He added that in this page, they will also "find messages from top government officials from the industry reiterating the government's commitment to protect and ensure that Filipino migrant workers get the best service they rightfully deserve." At the same time, Soriano said OWWA is wishing for OFWs "success" in their jobs abroad.  "While we await for your homecoming and be reunited with your families, we busy ourselves in providing you options whether to continue working overseas or be a self-made entrepreneur," he said. He added accessing the OWWA webpage on the internet will help the OFWs feel more at home and have access to "stories of OFWs who made the country doubly proud because of their heroism and gallantry and feature articles focusing on enterprising Pinoy workers to serve as an inspiration." The OWWA webpage can be found at www.owwa.gov.ph.
