RIYADH, 24 May — An agreement has been signed between the pathology department at King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Mayo Clinic Research Center. This agreement will benefit the hospital labs as well as all other medical centers in the neighboring countries which send their samples to KFSH. The agreement is expected to reduce expenses of the lab samples sent through the KFSH to the labs of Mayo Clinic by 20 to 70 percent depending on their nature, said Dr. Abdullah Al-Amro, deputy executive director of Business Administration and Development Group at KFSH, after signing the deal. He explained that this agreement would save expenses on sending lab samples for examination to different parts of the world.
