RIYADH, 25 May — The Kingdom is carrying out studies to establish a third free trade zone in the western coastal city of Yanbu. this was said by the Chairman of Al-Sajayni Center for Economic and Administrative Consultations, Ismail Sajayni, during a lecture at the Riyadh Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The new free trade zone will be the third besides the free trade zones at the ports in Jeddah and Dammam. Saudi oil exports reached about $42.4 billion in 1999, while non-oil exports reached $5.81b. The Kingdom’s imports reached about $28b during the same year. (KUNA)
