JEDDAH, 29 May — Rahlat is a new pocket guide to flights in the Gulf. It is a bimonthly, bilingual (English and Arabic) publication. It includes information about connecting flights to important destinations for economy class passengers. It lists domestic and international flights in the region, and all incoming and outgoing flights in one view for easy planning. All airports, be it Arar in Saudi Arabia or Al-Ain in the UAE, are separately listed. The telephone numbers of travel agents, airport inquiries, airline offices, hotels and car rental companies are all there. Also included is the flight data supplied by OAG, a multinational company responsible for all airline schedules, collection and processing. The guide is conceived by TravelSir Marketing Company and represented in the region by Saudi Tourist and Travel Bureau (STTB), a leading local travel agency. Muhammad Siddiqui, its publishing manager said: “We’ve published Rahlat because we wanted to ensure that both Arabic and English speaking travelers in our region could get all the information they needed to make their trip convenient and pleasant,” he explained
