Saudi Aramco rated biggest oil company

DHAHRAN, 6 January — Saudi Arabian Oil Company (Saudi Aramco) has won first place among international oil companies for the 12th year in a row, according to a rating made by the Petroleum Intelligence Weekly. The weekly chooses the biggest 50 oil companies out of 120 around the world annually. Saudi Aramco won the position thanks to its excellent ratings in operations, volume of oil and gas reserves, volume of production, capacity of refineries and sales in 1999. (SPA)
