300,000 counterfeit programs destroyed

JEDDAH, 18 January — The Information Ministry's office in Jeddah yesterday destroyed more than 300,000 discs containing imitation and counterfeit Playstation games produced in East Asian countries. The ministry confiscated the discs from travelers coming into the country and computer shops. The measure reflects the Kingdom's desire to strictly implement the copyright rules. (SPA)
