6,250 officers at entry points

BAKERIYA, 4 February — The Passport Department has deployed 6,250 officers at the country's entry points including airports and seaports to serve pilgrims, according to Brig. Hassan Rishwan, director of the Haj and Umrah section. He said King Abdul Aziz Airport in Jeddah, the main gateway of pilgrims, will get 3,100 officers. About 3,000 officers will be appointed at border crossings, he added. (Al-Eqtisadiah)
