TABUK, 16 February — After a long journey that lasted 30 months on foot, Muhammad Qadri, 60, arrived here on his way to Makkah to perform this year's Haj. He set out on this holy task after seeing the Holy Prophet (pbuh) in a dream. In 18 months he walked across India to enter neighboring Pakistan. After eight months of trekking through Pakistani territories he then reached Iran. It took him two months to cover both Iran and Iraq on foot. He then walked for one week across Jordan before finally reaching the the Saudi Arabia's borders. Kingdom's customs officials gave him a warm welcome, Qadri said, Okaz newspaper reported yesterday.
