JEDDAH, 20 February — Al-Khaleejiah Advertising and Public Relations Company took part in the Seventh Gulf Vision festival for Television and Radio production held in Bahrain early this month. The participation was first in its capacity as the media representative of Saudi Television Channels One and Two. Khaleejiah's stand provided the latest films and TV programs of channels One and Two. Several promotional publications were distributed. They included a promotional kit containing information on the establishment and development of Saudi television, viewership indicators, program grids and others. Several other brochures in English and Arabic covering Saudi Research and Publishing Company publications were also distributed, in addition to free issues of the portfolio's weeklies, monthlies and dailies.
The stand was visited by Bahraini Minister of Information and Cabinet Affairs Muhammad Ibrahim Al-Mutaw'e.
The minister underlined the role of Al-Khaleejiah and its continuous contribution to media activities, especially those held in Bahrain.
Dr. Abdulwahab Abdullah Baghdadi, chairman of the Board of Gulf Television, expressed his appreciation of Al-Khaleejiah for being a major sponsor of the event. Al-Khaleejiah's participation was supervised by Fawzi Mosli, manager of public relations and business development.
The festival also featured several lectures and panel discussions. Dr. Abdullah Bankhar, general manager of Al-Khaleejiah, presented a panel discussion entitled "Privatization and Media". (AN)
