Call to look for new moon

RIYADH, 21 February — The Supreme Judicial Council has called upon all Muslims in the Kingdom to look for the new moon on Thursday, a press statement said. "If nobody has seen the crescent of Dul Hijjah on that day, they should look for it on Friday," the Council said and urged those who sight the moon to testify before the nearest Shariah court or the governorate.
