JEDDAH, 27 June — The role of parents in children counseling was the theme of a workshop held at Al-Wurood International School here recently. Mary Thomas, who has been a counselor of students at the National Public School, Bangalore, conducted the workshop. Speakers, including psychiatrist, Dr. Abdullah Moopan, highlighted the development of children through different stages, and how many of them were “made bad individuals” by the wrong attitude and behavior of parents. Parents were told to develop a positive attitude and mold their children in the right way. Dr. P.M. Abdulrahman inaugurated the workshop. Principal K.A. Rasheed said the workshop was part of a series of classes planned for the parents .Sharmini Candappa gave a vote of thanks. (AN)
