Morning newspaper for families

JEDDAH, 1 July — Interior Minister Prince Naif yesterday called on publishers of Usrah, a family newspaper soon to be published from Riyadh, to meet international journalistic standards to make the paper the first daily for families in the Arab world. He was speaking after receiving the chairman and board members of Al-Jazirah Est. for Press, Printing and Publication here. A Royal Decree has been issued to convert the Masaeyya evening newspaper, which ceased publication last April, into a morning newspaper for families.
