JEDDAH, 29 July — A morgue attendant at King Saud Hospital in Unaizah was fired following a complaint from a citizen. Abdul Al-Rahman Al-Khalaf had complained to the hospital authorities that the Bangladeshi worker handed over to him the body of another person instead of his mother’s. Al-Khalaf said the man did not ask him to identity himself before handing over the body. The Saudi said he came to know about the mix-up only when relatives who were preparing the body for burial told him that the body was of a man, and not of his mother. — Ayed Al-Mutairy
