RAFHA, 2 September — One person was killed and nine others were injured in three separate road accidents on the International Highway linking the Kingdom with Jordan. The first accident occurred about 190 km west of Rafha when a trailer truck hit a pickup van killing its driver, Al-Riyadh Arabic newspaper reported yesterday. In the second accident — a three-vehicle pileup, six people were injured. The third accident, 100 km east of the city, injured two people, one of them seriously. Four accidents on the road last week killed seven people and injured several others, the paper said.
