Utility vehicles blocking traffic

JEDDAH, 18 October — Hundreds of residents in Bawadi and Nuzha, two northern districts in the city, have complained to the mayor that garbage collection trucks and other equipment belonging to the municipality have been obstructing the traffic on narrow roads in the districts early each morning. Local residents are requesting that the mayor takes steps to organize the removal of garbage and other cleaning operations at a less inconvenient time, Al-Bilad reported yesterday.
