Telethon for Afghan relief

RIYADH, 18 October — The media campaign to collect donations for the Afghan relief will start this afternoon on the Saudi TV Channel 1. The telethon, which is being organized in compliance with a directive of the higher authorities, will appeal to both Saudis and expats to cooperate with the effort generously. Donations can be deposited in the Unified Special Ac. No. 80 for Afghan Refugees at all branches of the National Commercial Bank.
