Kuwait to recruit Saudi female teachers

DAMMAM, 9 November — The Kuwaiti civil service department plans to recruit 100 Saudi female teachers to teach in the schools in that country, according to an official source at the ministry. The specialist subjects of the teachers are Arabic and English, Islam, Home Economics, History, Geography, Psychology, and social sciences. The Saudi teachers in Kuwait used to get KD330 (SR4,000) as a wage, but this was recently raised to KD460 (SR5,700). (SPA)
