Rallies in support for Iranian protesters held around the world

Rallies were held across several countries, including the United States, Canada, Germany and Cyprus, by demonstrators wanting to voice their support for protests that swept Iran over the past week.

Protests erupted in most of the country's 31 provinces after the death in custody of a woman detained by the Islamic Republic's morality police.

At least 41 people have been killed in the week-long unrest, state television said on Saturday.
