JEDDAH, 15 December — Saudi Arabia has registered 440 AIDS cases since the launching of a national program against the fatal disease, according to a statement of the director general of infectious diseases at the Ministry of Health Dr. Muhammad Al-Jafri. Some 80 percent of the patients are men and 20 percent women while 36 percent fall in the age group of 30-40, Al-Jazirah daily yesterday quoted Al-Jafri as saying.
