Hit-and-run driver caught after chase

JEDDAH, 5 January — A Saudi citizen last Thursday chased and caught a driver who ran over and killed an expatriate in Madinah and handed him over to police, Okaz said yesterday. The speeding car hit the expatriate who was crossing a road and drove away without stopping. The Saudi, who witnessed the accident, followed the speeding car and informed police about the fleeing driver. After a long chase, the Saudi caught up with the driver in the Al-Awali region.
