Need for voluntary work stressed

RIYADH, 16 January — Princess Hossa Al-Shaalan, wife of Crown Prince Abdullah, attended a seminar on women and voluntary service, organized by the women’s section of the King Abdul Aziz Public Library here yesterday. Addressing the seminar, Awatif Ashraf, head of the field training division, highlighted the importance of systematic voluntary services. She also explained the factors that keep Saudi women from coming forward for voluntary work. (SPA)
