Haj permit deadline may be extended

JEDDAH, 30 January — The Ministry of Haj is considering extending the last date for accepting applications for Haj permits until the last working day for the government offices, especially the Passports Department, in order to enable more people to participate in this year’s Haj, Al-Madinah newspaper reported yesterday. The Passports Department has urged the expats who wish to participate in this year’s Haj to contact an approved domestic Haj establishment for the permit without which they would not be allowed to enter Makkah.
