Cameras to monitor traffic in EP

JEDDAH, 11 February — Steps are under way to install cameras on highways and major streets in the Eastern Province to record traffic violations, Al-Madinah daily reported yesterday. The Traffic Department will install cameras at intersections and other traffic points to monitor speeding and the running of red lights, said Col. Rashid Al-Amro, director of traffic in the Eastern Province.
