Civil Defense deploys helicopter fleet

MINA, 20 February — The Civil Defense Department will deploy a fleet of nine helicopters for rescue missions and monitoring pilgrim movement, said Maj. Gen. Saad Al-Tuwaijeri, director of the department. It will also deploy 250 fire-fighting units during the Haj. The department has emphasized the need for organizing special programs to enhance the safety awareness among the pilgrims before they come to the Kingdom.
