RIYADH, 15 March — Jun “game ka na ba” Pilipina turned in 661 points performance as the Global Distribution eased to a 5-0 victory over the Amigos 2 on the 15th week of the All Filipino Tenpin Bowling League organized by the Filipino Tenpin Bowlers of Jeddah (FTBJ) at the Jeddah Bowling Center.
Pilipina rolled 202 in the first match and nailed down a game-high of 246 in the second game and followed by another 213 in the penultimate game. Jun Palacios had 564 series in three games and Ariel Urquia scored 505 pinfalls in three outings. Rey Abaygar scored 451 series in three outings while Ver Luz toppled a two-game series of 389. It was the second straight win for the Global Distribution as they climbed-up the ladder to occupy the seventh position.
For the Amigos team quintet, submitting the best scores came through the tandem of Joey Salvador and Mat Abadier who tallied a separate three-game series of 565 and 553. Danny Manriza had 480 series in three matches and Ed Karganilla together with Alex Flora posted a series of 465 and 460 in three sets, respectively.
The Tetra Pak team keglers with Leo Laygo and Ding Abaygar scoring a series of 611 and 607 buried the Green Farm team to win the match (4-1). Bert Tuvera, Rodell Ricafort and Edwin Carrao contributed to separate three-game series of 573, 507 and 489.
The out-of-form Green Farm team collected overall total team output of 2663 pinfalls through the combined efforts of Val Magsino (562), Odjie Sagcal (557), Igna Salgado (516), Fred Mangondato (498) and Mao Orolfo (467).
On lanes 19 and 20, the Dove team exhausted extra effort to humiliate the Lux Power Bowlers by snatching 4 points against 1 point registered by Lux Power. Star of the show, Edward Manuzo led in the Dove team by carding a three-game series of 643. Nap “pogi” Patayan, centennial Danny de Guzman and Edwin Ronquillo came-in next to Patayan as the next players who added a separate series of 582, 567 and 535. Jimmy Rosillo submitted a series of 475 points.
Jun Lasaga of Lux Power fired astounding three-game series of 664 on lines of 201, 214 and 248 to remain the top scorer. Andy Erena shot 562 series while Paul Antiporda garnered 528 pinfalls in three sets. Danny Bautista and Fred “breakfast” Agahan scored a separate series of 462 and 389.
The Abudawood Trading team upset the league leader, the Malaysia Airlines (3-2) and powering the Abudawood came through the devastating forms of Aga Mitmug who scored a series of 605. Lindo Villanueva and Louie “lover boy” Bautista together with Emil Payongayong submitted a series of 596, 563 and 465.
Ace Hashim Guinomla led in the Malaysia Airlines by carding a three-game series of 572, followed by Nonie Yap (549), Luis T. Luna (541), Jun Cabral (539) and Sam Ocampo (482).
The Internet@Kape outplayed the Big One Chocolates (4-1) and topscoring in the Internet@Kape was the duo of Roger Dauioag (635) and Goying Salazar (610). Mar Narvasa, Eddie Tuico and Mixi Lechuga added a separate series of 589, 501 and 486.
Jerriel Cacao of the Big One Chocolates was on top with a series of 624, rolling 181 in the first match followed by 224 and 219 in the remaining two games. Rey Pormilda and Leo Pangilinan toppled a series of 596 and 549. Jess Escondo and Terry Naorbe submitted a series of 497 and 394.
The SkyFreight Forwarders collected five points over the bye-team and leading scorers are Hero Garcia (616) and Don Emy de Guzman (605). FTBJ President, Rally Zamora knocked-down 557 series while Kulot dela Rosa and Rene Santiago snatched a series of 500 and 456.
