RIYADH — Rookie Arman Caraig splashed one of his deadly forms helped Vision 2 team past experienced and powerhouse SkyFreight Forwarders (15-7) on the 15th week of the OFWBR “Pabongahan” Inter-Province Bowling League sponsored by the SkyFreight Forwarders at the Riyadh Inter-Continental Hotel Bowling Center.
Caraig, also a bowler of the week awardee led the Vision 2 with a four-game series of 813. Rene Enriquez stole the thunder by carding a series of 720 in four games. Emil Rances and Edu Quizon together with team captain Alex Bandoy seared the lanes to score a series of 384, 377, and 339. Nap Torres and Romy Aldama pocketed a series of 332 and 309.
Ace Vher Cayago, Reden “PK1” Tulabut and Larry “PK2” Mondoy topscored in the Opnel team by submitting a separate four-game series of 779, 706 and 704 in four outings. Jimmy Medina poured 687 points while Glenn Mariano downed a series of 332. Rolly Amis had 194 in one game.
The Laguna Strikers team of Rolly Manalang once again snatched their fourth Team of the Week awards by garnering a 20 big points over the Calabarzon team to win the match. Cas Encilla remained on top by carding a series of 835 in four match for Laguna Strikers. Ramon Nilo and Rod Basilio sparkled to post a series of 674 and 656. Jomari de Luna scored 545 series and Marvin Arocena garnered a series of 386. Jose Concepcion had 305 series.
For the scoreless Calabarzon team, leading scorer was Bobby Dajulan with a series of 727 followed by Ed Bautista (674) and John Esplanada (663). Nelson Buenaventura shot a series of 492 in three games while Edu Mercado pinned-down a series of 298 in two games.
League leader and the defending champions, the Pangasinan Strikers continued their winning form by dismantling the Metro Five Stars (20-6). The duo of Pep Maghinay and Jojo Demetrio seared the lanes to be on top in the Pangasinan by posting a separate four-game series of 797 and 757. Wilson Bacala sizzled to score a series of 660 and Bobby Jamora downed a series of 610 in three matches.
The trios of Neil Domingo, Jun Ego and Glenn Espiritu sizzled in the Metro Five Stars team to score a series of 717, 678 and 669. Edwin Bathan rolled 657 pinfalls and Ahmed Ziptawi collected 396 pinfalls.
The Bicol Express recorded a 20-0 victory against the Luzvimin Pin Busters and at helm in the Besa was the bowler of the week holder, Henry Sonias with a series of 843. Ferdie Ramos and Rollie Cleofe sealed a separate four-game series of 806 and 749.
Toffee San Jose tallied a series of 508 in three games and Rizal Dellosa had 368 pinfalls in two games.
Ed Maduro and Sonny Bautista led in the Luzvimin Pin Busters by knocking-down a series of 808 and 711. Jojo Miraflor rolled 526 points and Fred Zacarias posted 458 points. Hanibal Geronimo and Malco Muyco collected a series of 378 and 356.
The ABB Mixed Stars of Mon Teodoro impressed to rolled past the Pampanga Dragons (20-2) and grabbing the limelight in the ABB Mixed Stars team was Teodoro with 819 series. Keng Reymundo was next to Teodoro with 767 pinfalls. Ramon Perez fired a series of 664 and Mel Solas and Gerry Signey scored a series of 549 and 530.
Roger Bautista and Raul Villalobos topscored in the Pampanga Dragons by recording a series of 724 and 715 in four games. Rey Lansang downed 671 series while Rene Dimapilis pocketed a series of 542. Boy Catu shot a series of 354 in two games. ()
