RIYADH, 5 April — The Saudi Embassy in Pakistan is closely following the case of a Saudi woman detained in a Pakistani jail with her Afghan husband for over three months on charges of entering the country illegally.
The embassy officials expect the Pakistani court to deport the woman as her Saudi relatives wished though she does not want to return to the Kingdom as she prefers to stay with her Afghan husband. They had entered Pakistan illegally with documents of their marriage taking place in Pakistan.
