Farewell party for departing Filipino attaché

RIYADH, 10 April — The Basak Consultative and Development Council (BCDC), Community leaders, friends and relatives gathered on Saturday at the Philippine Embassy, in a farewell bid to one of their parting members, Attaché Mitomara "Mike" Diangca, who was recalled recently by the Department of Foreign Affairs, Manila.

Saidali M. Malic, vice president of BCDC, said the group also expressed deep gratitude for the invaluable services and support extended to the organization by Consul Gary Domingo who is also leaving the Kingdom.

In the same event, Vice Consul Germinia Aguillar Usodan and her husband Attaché Yusoph Usodan were given by the BCDC and the Maranao community at large a warm welcome. The said event was attended by Ambassador Rafael E. Seguis as guest speaker.

Other embassy dignitaries present were Vice Consul Ezzedin Tago, Cultural Attaché Carmelita Hidalgo, Attaché Cadar Macasindil, Attaché Acas Bayabao and Attaché Saipoden Manalao.

In his speech, BCDC Chairman Jed Alonto paid tribute to the ambassador, other embassy officials and to the Maranao community for gracing the occasion.
