English classes from next year

JEDDAH, 24 May — Education Minister Muhammad Al-Rasheed said English language will be taught in higher classes at elementary level from the next academic year, Al-Watan daily reported yesterday. He was addressing students of the College of Education in Riyadh on Wednesday. The minister urged the students to work hard “as each individual in the education sector has a social responsibility.”
