RIYADH, 7 June — Deputy Governor of Riyadh Prince Sattam inaugurated the first Islamic dawa exhibition at the Riyadh Exhibition Center Wednesday night. The show, whose theme is the use of new information technology in promoting Islam, is scheduled to run until June 14.
A large number of charitable and dawa organizations as well as Islamic publishing houses are participating in the exhibition.
An estimated 200,000 visitors are expected to attend the event, the first of its kind in Riyadh, following the successful run it has had in Dammam and Jeddah where 150,000 and 170,000 visitors respectively attended the exhibitions in previous years.
