Hospitals told to release bodies

RIYADH,8 July — Saudi authorities have instructed private hospitals not to withhold dead bodies until payment of treatment bill, saying it was a violation of Health Ministry regulations. In a statement issued yesterday, Dr. Hamad Al-Manie, director of health in the Riyadh region, told private clinics and hospitals to adopt other methods to ensure payment of bills. He said the ministry will take action against hospitals that violate the law. (SPA)
