JEDDAH, 25 July – As part of its efforts to assist Muslim minorities and refugees, the World Assembly of Muslim Youth has implemented a number of charitable projects for Chechen refugees living in Georgia, according to a statement by Abdulwahab Noorwali, assistant secretary-general of the organization yesterday. The projects included conducting religious classes, furnishing and electrifying a number of mosques and appointment of imams and muezzins (callers to prayer).
