Medical aid for Afghanistan

RIYADH, 31 July — The Kingdom has delivered 13 truckloads of medical aid, worth $1 million, to Afghanistan as part of emergency relief ordered by Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Fahd last year, it was reported yesterday. In the wake of the US-led campaign against the Taleban militia and the Al-Qaeda network last October, the king ordered $10 million worth of food, medicine and clothes to the Muslim nation. Delivery of food and clothes had been completed. Other medical aid will be delivered soon.
