AL-AHSA, 10 August — The health department in Al-Ahsa has urged King Fahd Hospital authorities in Hufouf to provide necessary medical care to patients suffering from cancerous tumors. The directive by Dr. Khalifa Al-Molhem, director of health in the region, comes in the wake of complaints by patients that they were not receiving proper treatment and medicine. The patients urged the authorities to appoint more doctors and establish facilities for blood analysis. The father of a five-year-old patient told Arab News that the hospital’s pharmacy was not having certain medicines.
