JEDDAH, 23 August — A Riyadh schoolteacher taught her husband an age-old lesson the hard way that hell has no fury like a woman scorned, and robbed to boot. In the process, she also got back the SR100,000 he had taken from her account before kicking him out of the house, reported Al-Riyadh, a local Arabic newspaper. The teacher, who had gone to visit her parents on vacation, discovered on her return that her bank balance was nil. She confronted her husband on this issue and he confessed that he had cleared the account by using her ATM card, which she had left at home while on vacation. The husband added insult to injury by saying that he needed the money because he was about to take a young second wife. The furious teacher called her brothers, who shut the husband in a room until he paid the money back in full. The teacher, who received a check, deposited the amount into her account before ordering her husband to pack up and leave. She did it as the house belonged to her. Now the husband is richer in knowledge but poorer of a house and family.
