DUBAI, 20 December 2002 — Saudi Rally driver Ahmed Alsabban, supported by MBC-Bison, finished the 2002 car race season achieving fourth position in group “S” of the Middle East Rally Championship. He continued to remain in the competition in spite of the technical and mechanical problems his car had and the obstacles he faced. He had to replace his car in exchange for a most modern vehicle.

While negotiating the hardest rounds of Lebanon International Rally rounds of the championship 2002, he continued with the challenges posed in the group by other drivers who also had their share of problems. Finally, Alsabban was faced with the breakdown of the gearbox in the midst of the Dubai Rally, the last round of the Middle East International Rally, when driving in the 8th stage while going along the Ali Mountain. “We hope to work and do our best from now on for our success in the next season,” he said and thanked all of his sponsors and supporters.
