JEDDAH, 7 February 2003 — Talal Al-Touwayreb and Mohamed Al-Najrani were honored for their achievements at a bowling event organized by Saudi Bowling Federation (SBF) at Riyadh Holiday Inn hotel recently. Each of them received a cash prize of SR7,500 from SADAFCO, a leading company in dairy, foodstuff and juice industry. Its Riyadh-based Executive Manager Mousaa’ed Al-Nassar presented the prizes and wished them and the SBF more successes in future events.
Al-Touwayreb was placed third in the 38th World Bowling Singles Championship organized in Rija, Latvia, in which 85 countries took part. Al-Najrani received the silver medal in the 17th Asian Bowling Singles Championship held in Hong Kong.
SADAFCO Managing Director Ahmed Al-Marzouqi, a member of the SBF, reviewed the achievements of the federation, which had been taking rapid strides under the auspices of Prince Talal ibn Badr ibn Saud. Al-Marzouqi had a word of praise for the late Prince Faisal ibn Fahd ibn Abdul Aziz and Presidency of Youth Welfare President Prince Sultan ibn Fahd ibn Abdul Aziz for their support and encouragement.
