Funeral Prayers Held for Bomb Victims

RIYADH, 15 May 2003 — Funeral prayers were held at Al-Rajhi Mosque here yesterday for six of the 34 Riyadh blast victims. Riyadh Governor Prince Salman, Deputy Governor Prince Sattam, Assistant Interior Minister Prince Muhammad ibn Naif, other princes, top officials and a large number of citizens and expatriates attended the prayers.

The prayers were held for Mulha Sameer Al-Harbi, who was an officer at the National Guard, Faleeh Sayer Al-Anazi, who worked for the air force, Yahya Isa Aseeri, who was a security guard, Walid Omar Taher, Saleh Nafid Auda, all Saudis, and Walid Yaseen, a Palestinian. Prince Salman conveyed to the victims’ families the condolences of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Fahd, Crown Prince Abdullah, and Prince Sultan, second deputy premier and minister of defense and aviation.
