JEDDAH, 4 July 2003 — The NPS and the SkyFreight Forwarders posted separate wins in the 15th week of the 14th Inter-Commercial Family Bowling League organized by the Filipino Tenpin Bowlers of Jeddah (FTBJ) at the Bowling World Center.
The NPS quintet produced an overall total team series handicap of 2,888 points to humble the Asereje who sealed 2,647 overall total team series handicap. Atoi Cruz, with 24 handicaps per game, tallied a three game series of 620 to topscore for NPS. Pinky Acato dazzled to post 613. Beth Concepcion, Goying Salazar and Randy Mata sparkled to contribute a separate three game series of 561, 557 and 537. The NPS sealed 34 points
Daryl Loquias and May Lourdes led in the Asereje with a separate series of 567 and 532. Sam Ocampo scored 528 series while Ed Labuac and Imelda Sayago toppled a series of 512 and 508, respectively. The Asereje collected 11 points.
Rod Morales and Hero Garcia powered the SkyFreight Forwarders to dismantle the Sadafco-Saudia Majestic (2,863-2,624). Morales and Garcia had separate series of 631 and 610. Fully Primo and Lilia Banes together with Cris Villavelez added series of 596, 549 and 477. Submitting the best scores in the Sadafco-Saudia Majestic was Jess Cerbito with 575 followed by Bheng Cerbito (551). Rene Martinez and Edu Toledo poured 519 and 513 points while Luz Pagaran rolled 466 pinfalls.
The Saudi Pearl Insurance continued their winning streak when they clobbered the current league leaders, the Cee Bee Aviation (2,870-2,686). Myrna de Guzman helped Saudi Pearl Insurance by carding an impressive 623. Myrna rolled a game high of 237 in the second game. Rey Beltran and Danny de Guzman shared spotlight with Myrna with 593 and 570. Lyn Decena and Boy Casio got 550 and 534. For Cee Bee Aviation it was Nap Patayan with a series of 575. Lindo Villanueva, Aiza Silabay and Susan Patayan posted series of 542, 534 and 527. Eddie Alisbo downed 508 points.
The unstoppable Rejonal Aces relying on Rene Santiago demolished the Berks (2,933-2,715). Santiago fired the day’s high game record of 256 and tallied 671. Nanding Siasoco toppled 608 while Joey Salvador, Grace Siasoco and Tess Marasigan shot 565, 549 and 540. Rejonal Aces got 39 big points. Jess Escondo topscored for the Berks with 600 followed by Lavern Laderas with a series of 591. Lindo Escondo and Jess Pineda garnered a series of 568 and 546 in three matches.
The triumvirate of Andy Erena, Dads Gueco and Fatima Jintarat piloted the Lux Progress past Jeddah Lanes (2,804-2,565). Erena had 666, while Gueco and Jintarat hit 570 and 568. Jun Lasaga and Che Bautista chipped in with 516 and 484. Rally Zamora led Jeddah Lanes with 531. Ester Jalata, Mao Orolfo and Edna Uy scored a series of 528, 510 and 500. Igna Salgado snatched 496 series.
