JEDDAH, 25 July 2003 — Cee Bee Aviation, Lux Progress, Saudi Pearl Insurance and the Rejonal Aces will play stepladder matches to determine the champion in the Inter-Company Bowling League organized by the Filipino Tenpin Bowlers of Jeddah (FTBJ) under the leadership of its President Rene San Pedro.
And in the 18th week of the competition, Jeddah Lanes team recorded a 2,858-2,811 win against the NPS and collected 39 big points. Rally Zamora led in the Jeddah Lanes with a series of 605. Igna Salgado had a 579 series.
Jun Pilipina had 556 points while Nancy Zamora and Ester Jalata got separate series of 429 and 386.
For the NPS team, topscoring was Goying Salazar, who toppled a three game series of 639. Rany Mata downed 506 pinfalls while Atoi Cruz, Pinky Acato and Beth Concepcion scored a series of 492, 482 and 476. NPS sealed 33 points.
SkyFreight Forwarders posted an output of 2,774 to beat Asereje who tallied an overall total team output of 2,633 points. Criz Villavelez led in the SkyFreight Forwarders by carding a three game series of 598.
Hero Garcia and Rod Morales snatched 563 and 560 points while Yolly Santos toppled 474. Sammy Ocampo and James Galvan led Asereje with a separate three game series of 531 and 512. Daryl Loquias scored 421 while Imelda Sayago and Cora del Rosario posted a series of 397 and 364.
Sadafco-Saudia Majestic rolled past Lux Progress (2,765-2,735) with Bheng Cerbitowith (557), Dante Calapatia (525), Jess Cerbito (519), Luz Pagaran (487) and Rene Martinez (449).
Cee Bee Aviation dismantled Berks (2,735-2,653) with Lindo Villanueva (556), Nap Patayan (542) series while Susan Patayan sealed 500 series in three sets. Aiza Silabay and Eddie Alisbo scored 479 and 436 in three matches respectively.
Jess Pineda led Berks with 557 in three games. Jay Perez (515) points, Patrick and Jess Escondo 471 and 467 in three outings while Rose Formby downed 328 points.
Rejonal Aces nipped Saudi Pearl Insurance (2,727-2,724) and leading player was Joey Salvador with 545 pinfalls. Nanding Siasoco and Rene Santiago, with 478 and 477 in three sets, while Grace Siasoco and Tess Marasigan toppled a series of 444 and 432. Danny de Guzman, Benjie Domado and Boy Casio led Saudi Pearl Insurance by carding a 531, 508 and 500 in three matches respectively. Myrna de Guzman and Lyn Decena knocked a series of 468 and 426.
