JEDDAH, 27 August 2003 — Two Pakistani men convicted of drug trafficking were executed here yesterday, the Interior Ministry said. Zahir Shah Khan had been sentenced to death for smuggling heroin into the Kingdom, it said. Akhlaq Ali Muhammad Hashem was executed for “taking delivery of heroin,” the ministry said in a separate statement.
