ALKHOBAR, 19 September 2003 — This year EPCA’s 6-A-Side tournament is sponsored by Al Tuwairqi Group of Companies. The EPCA thanks Hilal Husain Al-Tuwairqi, chairman of Al-Tuwairqi Group of Companies for his generosity.
All EPCA registered team will participate in this unique tournament which will be played at Dammam port grounds. Any new team that would like to participate in this tournament can field a team in this tournament.
Registration of players will begin at 7.30 a.m. The rules of the tournament are simple. Once a player has played a match for a particular team he will not be allowed to change teams. Six players will make up a team and the contest in this tournament will be of five overs each in a match. There are further restrictions. A bowler is allowed to bowl one over. Any wide and no balls will count for 4 runs, this in addition to any runs scored from this wide or no ball. Teams should bring used balls with them as new balls are not allowed in the event.
