Charity Tent

MADINAH, 28 October 2003 — A committee of charities has erected a Ramadan tent in the city center for the third year running. The committee’s director, Yahya Saleh, said the tent was so successful in previous years that more charities from Madinah and its outskirts will be participating in this event. He said the aim of the tent was to raise awareness of the charities’ activities and provide opportunities for participation and donations. He said the tent would also host seminars and lectures by a number of well-known scholars.
