JEDDAH, 14 November 2003 — Jeddah Cable shone in the outgoing 13th PEBA Open Basketball Tournament. The team beat Mahmoud Saeed 64-54.

In other games, Fuji Elevators out fought Panda 91-89 in overtime, while Al-Rehab gave SOFAB a 70-51 beating. Jeddah Cable raced to a comfortable 33-23 lead behind the guns of Rongavilla, and Rudio who scored 10 and 9 points, respectively.

In the second half, the duo teamed-up again to foil Mahmoud Saeed’s comeback bid. Rudio eventually finished the game with 14 points and his partner, Rongavilla chipped in 12 points. Buenaflor and Reycarlo scored 11 points apiece for the game for Mahmoud Saeed squad. Fuji Elevators had a monster game from Tabligan who scored 43 points.
