DAMMAM, 19 December 2003 — Unique, KCC, and Trico prevailed in DCA League matches played at DCA grounds here.
Kanoo defeated Sceco by six wickets. Sceco scored 105/9 in the allotted 20 overs. Nizam of Kanoo took 3 wickets for 13 runs and scored 28. Eastern Pack defeated Blue Star by six wickets. Bluestar scored 80 in 20 overs. Eastern Pack easily achieved the target.
For Eastern Pack, Fernando scored 40 not out. Strikers defeated Nesma by 56 runs. Strikers scored 110. Rifdi hit 34 and Hussain took 5 wickets for 13 runs. Unique defeated Sadafco by 42 runs in another match. Unique batted first and scored 152 in 20 overs. Sadafco were bowled out for 110. For Unique Shamsu scored 43, Torees 34 & Farooq took 4/20.
KCC defeated DHL by 3 wickets. DHL batted first and scored 119 in 20 overs. In reply, KCC achieved the target in 18 overs with 3 wickets in hand. For KCC Isaac scored 37, Samuel 40 and Bablu took 5/13.
Hyderabad Blues scored 106 in 20 overs but Trico achieved the target in 18 overs and won the match by 5 wickets. For Trico, Madhura scored 24 and Rowan 26.
The match between Crescent and Masters had an exciting finish. Crescent batted first and scored 120/8 in 20 overs. Sameer hit 36 not out. In reply, Masters C.C. were all out for 115 in 16 overs and lost by 5 runs. For Masters C.C Mohideen 48 and Shakeel 31 shared 80 runs for the first wicket.
