James Notches Game-High 32 Points as Cavs Overrun Bulls

CHICAGO, 22 December 2003 — LeBron James notched a game-high 32 points and a career-best 10 assists to record his third double-double of the season and carry the Cleveland Cavaliers to a 95-87 victory over the Chicago Bulls Saturday.

James’ hero, Michael Jordan, was at the game and he saw the 18-year-old rookie add six rebounds to his haul.

The Bulls nursed a narrow lead entering the fourth period before James threw down Cleveland’s final 14 points. Jamal Crawford had 16 points to top Chicago.

Knicks 103 Hawks 92

In New York, Allan Houston and Keith Van Horn both poured in 20 points to lead the Knicks to a 103-92 win over the Atlanta Hawks. Antonio McDyess added 19 points while grabbing 10 rebounds.

In New Orleans, Baron Davis collected 25 points and 12 assists as the Hornets defeated the Memphis Grizzlies 94-89 to snap a three-game losing streak. Jamaal Magloire added 18 points and 13 rebounds while PJ Brown had 12 points and 10 boards.
